Case Summary

This project is located in Dushanzi, Xinjiang, China, with PetroChina Xinjiang Dushanzi Petrochemical Company as the client. The electrochemical desalting wastewater, characterized as petrochemical oily wastewater, contains high concentrations of emulsified oil and suspended solids from the crude oil desalting process. Located in the remote northwest region, the project demands highly reliable and low-maintenance equipment to ensure continuous operation.

Sinokle deployed its proprietary Two-Stage CDFU Cyclonic Dissolved Gas Flotation technology as the core treatment process. The two-stage configuration provides enhanced oil removal through staged separation, with the first stage handling the bulk oil load and the second stage polishing the effluent to achieve ultra-low residual oil content. The CDFU units operate without chemical dosing, leveraging the synergy of cyclonic centrifugal force and micro-bubble flotation for purely physical oil-water separation.

Treatment capacity: 100 m³/h. Influent oil content <2,000 mg/L. After treatment by the two-stage CDFU cyclonic dissolved gas flotation process, effluent oil content was reduced to <10 mg/L, achieving an oil removal efficiency of 99.5%. Successfully delivered in June 2019.

This project is a key reference case for Sinokle in electrochemical desalting wastewater treatment at the Dushanzi Petrochemical complex. The two-stage CDFU process has demonstrated outstanding performance in handling petrochemical oily wastewater under demanding conditions, providing reliable technical assurance for PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical's environmental compliance and sustainable production goals.
