Dual-Media Filter (Dual-Medium Filter)
The dual-medium filter is a type of filter that can be used for both clean water and wastewater treatment, making it highly suitable for fine filtration of oilfield and refinery wastewater. This filter uses anthracite, emery, and other filter media, employing different filter media combinations based on various water treatment requirements. During filtration, oily wastewater flows through the filter bed from top to bottom, where oil and suspended solids are intercepted and removed through backwash.
The filter media employs air-water backwash to ensure excellent regeneration effects. This product features compact structure, complete supporting facilities, stable operation, simple operation, thorough backwash, and easy maintenance. It is widely used in oily wastewater treatment in oilfields, and also suitable for deep treatment of industrial wastewater in metallurgy, chemical, textile, and other industries.
