This project is located in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. The client is a large private refinery. This is China's first industrial treatment project for high-density extra-heavy oil electrochemical desalting wastewater - a groundbreaking achievement with significant industry implications.

Extra-heavy oil is characterized by high density, high viscosity, and severe emulsification, making treatment far more challenging than conventional desalting wastewater. The oil content can reach up to 150,000 mg/L. Sinokle successfully overcame this technical challenge by deploying the Coalescing Pressure Oil Remover + CDFU Cyclonic Dissolved Gas Flotation combined process. The coalescing oil remover was specially optimized for high-density oil characteristics, while the CDFU unit provides deep treatment ensuring stable compliance with discharge standards.

This project filled the technical gap in China for high-density extra-heavy oil desalting wastewater treatment, demonstrating Sinokle's innovation capabilities and technical strength in specialty oil wastewater treatment.
