Goodbye Chemical Dependency: SINOKLE's CDFU + CDOF Combined Process Makes Oily Wastewater Treatment More Efficient and Greener
In the petrochemical, power and shipping industries, oily wastewater has long been a bottleneck in environmental protection because of its high degree of emulsification, complex composition and treatment difficulty. Conventional processes rely on chemical demulsifiers, which not only generate large volumes of hazardous oily sludge and raise disposal costs but also risk secondary pollution, making stable effluent quality hard to guarantee.
SINOKLE has long been deeply engaged in oily wastewater treatment and, with technological innovation at its core, has independently developed CDFU swirl dissolved-air flotation technology and CDOF multi-stage catalytic ozone oxidation technology to build a purely physical, chemical-free treatment system. It addresses the pain points of conventional processes at the source and offers the industry a new, highly efficient, energy-saving and eco-friendly solution.
I. Core Process: Two Technologies in Synergy for Full-Flow, High-Efficiency Purification
1. CDFU Swirl Dissolved-Air Flotation (Core of Pretreatment)
CDFU Swirl dissolved-air flotation integrates three technologies - swirl centrifugal separation, dissolved-air flotation and micro/nano bubbles. After oily wastewater enters the unit tangentially, heavy suspended solids are rapidly separated under the strong swirl field; ultra-fine bubbles of 5-30 μm disperse evenly and efficiently attach to dispersed oil, emulsified oil and fine suspended solids, achieving rapid demulsification and flotation separation.
Core advantages:
A purely physical process with no chemical dosing at any stage, eliminating oily sludge generation and the risk of secondary pollution.
High-efficiency separation: single-stage deoiling efficiency > 90% and suspended solids removal > 85%, capable of removing oil droplets of ≤ 2 μm, suitable for highly emulsified, high-oil-content wastewater.
Small footprint and high efficiency: retention time of only 1-5 minutes and a footprint 10%-30% that of conventional flotation; the modular design shortens installation and commissioning.
Strong shock resistance: it handles complex conditions with large fluctuations in oil content and keeps effluent stably compliant.

2. CDOF Multi-Stage Catalytic Ozone Oxidation (Core of Advanced Treatment)
CDOF Multi-stage catalytic ozone oxidation combines advanced catalytic ozonation with flotation technology. Through a multi-catalytic system it generates strongly oxidising hydroxyl radicals, deeply decomposing refractory organics, removing colour and odour, and disinfecting, so wastewater is deeply purified and reusable.

Core advantages:
Deep purification with high COD removal; effluent can meet reuse standards, enabling water recycling.
No secondary pollution: the oxidation products are CO₂ and H₂O, with no residual pollutants.
Wide applicability: it treats refractory oily wastewater from the petrochemical, power and shipping industries.
II. Process Value: A Win-Win for the Environment and the Bottom Line
Environmental value: no chemicals and no sludge, cutting hazardous waste at the source and meeting the requirements of the 'dual carbon' goals and green production.
Economic value: it removes the cost of chemical procurement and sludge disposal and cuts operating costs by more than 30%; long equipment life and simple O&M deliver a high overall return on investment.
Social value: it helps companies achieve compliant discharge and water reuse, easing industrial water pressure and driving the industry's green transition.
With the mission of 'technology guards clear waters, innovation builds the future', SINOKLE keeps deepening its R&D in oily wastewater treatment, supporting industrial environmental protection with purely physical processes and helping companies achieve green, sustainable development.
