What is CDOF?
CDOF(Cyclonic Dissolved Ozone Flotation Unit) is a patented product of SINOKLE Technology Co., Ltd. Integrating multiple catalytic ozonation, hydrodynamic cavitation and swirl dissolved-air flotation, it is an original domestic development with internationally leading performance - a high-efficiency integrated oxidation and flotation unit that holds PCT international patents.
The unit comprises five major subsystems: oxygen generation, ozone generation, high-efficiency ozone dosing, multiple catalytic reaction, and swirl dissolved-air flotation. By synergising homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, swirl flow, dissolved-air flotation, cavitation, supercritical catalytic oxidation and fully enclosed pressurised oxidation, it efficiently removes petroleum substances, suspended solids, colloids, COD bacteria and other pollutants from wastewater.
Key Features
First, it saves. The ozone dosing ratio is only 1/2 tothat of conventional processes, sharply cutting energy consumption; fewer chemicals mean low O&M costs.
Second, it is fast. Multiple catalytic oxidation reacts rapidly, with a retention time of less than 15 minutes.
Third, it is compact. The skid-mounted design occupies about 1/5 of the footprint of conventional processes, is pre-assembled and commissioned in the factory, and starts up quickly - ideal for existing projects with limited land.
Fourth, it is stable. Fully automated enclosed pressurised operation means no ozone leakage and a safe, eco-friendly process; it tolerates shock loads and significant fluctuations in water quality.
Four Scenarios Prove the Product's Strength
1. Upgrading Advanced Treatment at Wastewater Treatment Plants
For upgrade projects, CDOF performs impressively: influent COD≤200mg/L, colour≤200; effluent COD≤40mg/L, colour≤20, COD degradation is high and decolourisation is effective. The skid-mounted + small footprint frees existing plants from space constraints.
2. Refractory Industrial Wastewater
SINOKLE uses the "CDFU+CDOF" combined process to tackle complex industrial wastewater: CDFU first uses flocculation and flotation to remove colloids; CDOF completes deep decontamination via catalytic ozonation. Multiple catalytic oxidation boosts the ozone oxidation effect by 4 times or more, reduces colour by 90% or more and cuts sludge volume by 90% or more, with effluent meeting GB 18918-2002 Class 1 B standard (COD≤60mg/L, BOD5≤20mg/L, suspended solids≤20mg/L).
Compared with conventional "membrane+evaporation" processes, this solution is membrane-free and produces no concentrate, resists scaling and clogging, has low O&M costs, a small footprint and a short commissioning period, with clear advantages in long-term operating stability.
3. Pharmaceutical Wastewater
Pharmaceutical wastewater "is complex in composition, hard to biodegrade, saline and toxic, and highly variable", CDFU+CDOF work together to achieve "1+1>2" synergy: upstream CDFU generates micron- and nano-scale ultrafine bubbles, SS removal rate of 95% or more, extending catalyst life by 30% or more; downstream CDOF activates ozone at ambient temperature and pressure to generate hydroxyl radicals with an oxidation potential of 2.8V, a heterocyclic organic degradation rate of 85%-99%, and an antibiotic removal rate above 99%. The solution has completed a successful pilot test at a large pharmaceutical group in Inner Mongolia.
4. Fracturing Flowback Fluid
For oil and gas field fracturing flowback fluid, SINOKLE adopts the "CDOF gel breaking and viscosity reduction+CDFU oil and solids removal+precision filtration" route. Filtered water meets reuse requirements, and the skid-mounted equipment can be truck-mounted for well-site operations.
