In the coking production process, acidic wastewater has always been a problem troubling enterprises. Coking acidic wastewater has the following salient characteristics:

High coke powder content and fine particle size:The coke powder particle size is mainly concentrated at 5-20 um, of which 10-15 um accounts for as high as 56.44%. These tiny particles easily deposit in equipment and pipelines, causing blockage.

High proportion of emulsified oil and extremely small oil droplet size:Emulsified oil accounts for more than 60% of the total oil, and the oil droplet size is mainly concentrated at 10-25 um. The emulsified state is stable, making oil-water separation difficult and seriously affecting the treatment efficiency of the stripper.

Large composition fluctuations:The oil content in the wastewater can reach 500-3000 mg/L, sulfide 10,000-20,000 mg/L, and ammonia nitrogen 10,000-20,000 mg/L. The pollutant concentration fluctuates violently and easily produces pungent odors, bringing harm to the surrounding environment and operators.

Equipment prone to clogging:During long-term operation, coke powder and emulsified oil form deposits inside the stripper; in severe cases they even cause unplanned shutdowns, resulting in huge economic losses.

As the front-end pretreatment unit,CDFUit uses micro-nano bubbles (diameter 5-30 um) to demulsify the emulsified oil. After the micro-nano bubbles fully contact the emulsified oil, they destroy the oil-water interfacial film, causing oil droplets to rapidly coalesce and float for separation. This unit achieves a single-stage oil removal efficiency above 90% and a suspended solids removal rate exceeding 80%; even with fluctuations in influent flow and quality, the system maintains stable treatment performance.

(2) Fine Filter

CDFUThe treated effluent enters the fine filter to further remove tiny suspended solids and residual coke powder, providing cleaner influent conditions for the subsequent KHC coalescing oil remover and ensuring the long-term stable operation of the process.

(3) KHC High-Efficiency Coalescing Oil Remover

The KHC uses patented coalescing packing and high-precision coalescing cartridges to achieve oil-water separation through purely physical coalescence; it can remove emulsified oil droplets above 0.1 um, with stable and reliable demulsification. The separated waste oil has low moisture content and high quality, and can be directly returned to refining, which not only reduces waste discharge but also realizes resource recycling, significantly lowering production costs.
