Environmental Water Treatment Knowledge: The Meaning and Function of Beijing Enterprises Water (BEWG)
On May 14, 2016, BEWG unveiled the Daoxianghu Reclaimed Water Plant. On May 18, a delegation led by Lu Yongzheng, Vice Governor of Guizhou Province, visited the Hong Kong headquarters of BEWG Group for an inspection and discussion. On May 19, BEWG Group signed an equity cooperation agreement with Xingjing Capital, establishing BEWG Xingjing Water Equity Investment Management Co., Ltd. and launching the BEWG Fund at the same time. On May 23, BEWG Group and the Tongzhou District Water Authority jointly organized a staff walking event under the theme "Prioritize Water Conservation and Build Sponge Cities."
On June 16, 2016, the Western Regional Business Unit of BEWG Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Kunming with a total investment of RMB 4.45 billion.
On December 5, 2017, BEWG Group was named to the "2017 Top 500 Listed Companies in China." On December 11, in Institutional Investor magazine's "2017 All-Asia Executive Team" rankings, BEWG Group topped 10 of the categories in the "Utilities Sector" and ranked second in 3 categories.

In November 2024, the finals of the 7th BEWG Cup College Students' Eco-Environmental Innovation Competition, themed "Building a Green Ecosystem, Digital Innovation for the Future," were held in Chongqing. In the same month, Phase II of the Daoxianghu Reclaimed Water Plant, built with BEWG Group's participation, was awarded the 2024 Beijing Municipal "Great Wall" Structural Excellence Project. This plant is the first fully underground reclaimed water plant in northern China; its Phase II began operation at the end of July 2024, with improved daily treatment capacity, handling sewage within an area of approximately 67 km2.

In June 2022, due to sustained high temperatures, Luoyang BEWG Group recorded multiple peaks in daily water supply, reaching 550,600 m3 on June 21; the group had previously formulated a "Peak Water Supply Guarantee Plan" to ensure stable water supply.
