Abstract
Conventional electric desalting wastewater treatment technologies used in refineries and petrochemical plants offer limited oil-water separation performance, require long retention times, and are prone to scaling and blockage. To overcome these shortcomings, Shenzhen Sinokle Technology Co., Ltd. optimised and upgraded the high-efficiency coalescing pressure de-oiler, developed cyclonic dissolved air flotation, and introduced patented equipment combining a coalescing pressure de-oiler with cyclonic dissolved air flotation for electric desalting wastewater treatment.
The equipment has been successfully commissioned on the atmospheric and vacuum electric desalting wastewater treatment projects at the Sinopec Cangzhou Petrochemical refinery and the PetroChina Sichuan Petrochemical refinery. Stable and efficient operation demonstrates that the patented equipment delivers marked treatment performance for electric desalting wastewater, with effluent petroleum hydrocarbons below 150 mg/L and strong resistance to shock loading.
