Well-Known Domestic Companies in Landfill Leachate Treatment

Landfill leachate wastewater treatment equipment cannot rely on a single process; a single treatment method cannot achieve the ideal effect. Therefore, conventional landfill leachate treatment processes mostly adopt a combined process of pretreatment + biological treatment + advanced treatment. There are many such leachate treatment companies.

Well-known landfill leachate treatment companies include: Shenzhen Keli'er Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Well Environment Co., Ltd., Green Power Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd., Beijing OriginWater Technology Co., Ltd., Xiamen Jiarong Technology Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Shangtuo Environment Technology Co., Ltd., China Tianying Inc., and others.

Different leachate treatment companies have different advantages and treatment methods; some use chemical, physical, or biological methods, or combined processes, and some have very good reputations.

Shenzhen Keli'er Technology Co., Ltd. adopts a patented process centered on an integrated ozone advanced-oxidation cyclonic dissolved-air flotation unit for the advanced treatment of landfill leachate, overcoming the shortcomings of traditional membrane treatment processes and perfectly solving the difficulty of advanced leachate treatment. It uses self-developed full-quantity leachate treatment patented technology—membrane-free, producing no concentrated liquid!

Keli'er CDOF integrated equipment

The ozone advanced-oxidation cyclonic dissolved-air flotation integrated technology is a patented technology independently developed by Keli'er. It creatively combines ozone multi-catalytic oxidation, cyclonic technology, and dissolved-air flotation technology to achieve efficient comprehensive treatment of landfill leachate, rapidly reducing COD, ammonia nitrogen, decolorization, deodorization, and sterilization.

Advantages of the ozone advanced-oxidation cyclonic flotation integrated technology:

1) Fast reaction rate and small footprint. Ozone gas is highly dispersed in the wastewater; compared with traditional bubble ozone oxidation, the ozone dispersion is more than 100 times that of the traditional method, the reaction rate is greatly increased, the reaction time is only about 15 min (vs. 60–120 min traditionally, only 1/8 of the traditional technology), and the equipment footprint is only 1/10 or even smaller of the traditional method.

2) High ozone utilization with consumption only 1/3–1/2 of the traditional technology. By creatively combining critical catalytic oxidation, catalyst catalysis, and hydraulic cavitation catalysis, ozone is quickly converted into hydroxyl radicals, the hydroxyl radical reaction ratio is high, ozone utilization is high, catalytic oxidation efficiency is greatly improved over traditional technology, ozone consumption is only 1/3–1/2 of the traditional technology, saving substantial electricity, with low energy consumption and low cost.

3) Dual action of ozone catalytic oxidation and flotation gives high comprehensive pollutant removal efficiency. By creatively combining ozone catalytic oxidation with cyclonic dissolved-air flotation, on the one hand ozone rapidly destroys colloids and demulsifies emulsified oil, greatly enhancing the flotation separation effect, while also greatly reducing sludge (hazardous waste) generation (by 90%); on the other hand, cyclonic dissolved-air flotation enhances the contact efficiency of ozone with the catalyst and pollutants, increasing reaction rate and preventing catalyst contamination, thereby extending catalyst life.

CDOF process principle

CDOF (Cyclonic Dissolved Ozone Flotation unit) Technical Principle

CDOF creatively combines ozone advanced-oxidation technology, cyclonic technology, and dissolved-air flotation technology to achieve efficient comprehensive removal of various refractory wastewaters.

  • Ozone multi-catalytic oxidation technology (homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis)

  • Cyclonic technology

  • Dissolved-air flotation technology

  • Fully enclosed, fully automatic pressurized oxidation technology

  • Supercritical catalytic oxidation and high-efficiency heterogeneous catalyst

  • Cavitation

  • High-efficiency flocculation

  • Patented products

Key technological innovations of the high-efficiency heterogeneous catalyst:

  • (1) Uses various transition-metal oxides as catalytic components; through extensive experiments and engineering verification, adjusts the material ratio so the catalyst has excellent adaptability to different wastewaters while providing high catalytic activity.

  • (2) Uses medium- and low-temperature sintering technology, which, while ensuring the active components, effectively reduces production energy consumption and the loss rate of the catalyst during use, preventing secondary pollution.

  • (3) Uses high-activity component materials as the catalyst carrier, with a porous structure of high specific surface area and doped non-leaching catalytic components, improving catalyst stability. The carrier has high mechanical strength and a long service life.

  • (4) The catalyst can effectively lower the reaction activation energy, achieving deep oxidation and maximizing the removal of organic pollutants.

  • (5) It can accelerate ozone self-decomposition in water, increasing the concentration of ·OH generated in water, thereby improving the ozone oxidation effect—oxidation efficiency is 2–5 times higher than that of pure ozone oxidation.

  • (6) Uses atomic deposition to modify the catalyst, giving the carrier super-hydrophilicity so the catalyst is not easily contaminated, scaled, or blocked, enabling long-cycle operation.

CDOF Technical Features:

1. Integrates multiple technologies for excellent comprehensive treatment of various pollutants. CDOF combines ozone multi-catalytic oxidation (multiple catalysts working synergistically), pressurized oxidation, flocculation, cavitation, and cyclonic dissolved-air flotation, mutually reinforcing, to efficiently remove pollutants in various states (dissolved, colloidal, emulsified, etc.) in water—removal effect and separation speed unattainable by conventional ozone oxidation and flotation. It efficiently removes organics (dissolved, suspended, colloidal, etc.), reduces COD, and improves biodegradability; removes emulsified oil, dissolved oil, and suspended solids; removes phenols, sulfides, cyanides, etc.; removes turbidity, color, and odor; and inactivates bacteria, viruses, spores, and soft-bodied microorganisms.

2. High ozone utilization, fast reaction rate, short time, small footprint. Using pressurized oxidation and multiple heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysts, the reaction rate is fast, the catalytic effect is good, and consumption is low (1/2 of traditional), with low power consumption and low operating cost. The ozone catalytic reaction time is less than 15 min, only 1/6 of the traditional method, and the footprint is only 1/5 of the traditional method. Ozone utilization can exceed 99%, with basically no residual ozone in the tail gas (traditional catalytic oxidation has about 20% unreacted ozone).

3. Few auxiliary facilities, high automation, safe and environmentally friendly, low overall investment. The equipment footprint is only 1/3 or even smaller of the traditional method, with fewer auxiliary equipment and civil-engineering investments and a short construction period. Fully automatic control and operation require little manual intervention, have good long-cycle stability, and low operation and maintenance costs. Fully enclosed pressurized operation poses no ozone-leakage risk—safe and environmentally friendly.
