Foreword

In order to implement the Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Protection, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Water Pollution, and other laws and regulations, improve the professionalization of rural domestic sewage treatment, and standardize the operation and maintenance management of rural domestic sewage treatment facilities, this standard is formulated.

This standard specifies the basic provisions, household sewage collection systems, public sewage collection systems, sewage treatment facilities, sludge treatment and disposal, monitoring and management, data recording and archive management, and operation and maintenance assessment for the operation and maintenance of rural domestic sewage treatment facilities.

This standard is issued for the first time and was organized and developed by the China Environmental Protection Industry Association.

This standard was approved by the China Environmental Protection Industry Association on October 21, 2022 and shall be implemented from November 1, 2022.
